Archer Receives UL 157 Certification for NBR Compound N70UL25377

Archer Advanced Rubber Components is pleased to announce that one of our synthetic rubber compounds has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) under the UL 157 standard. This newly certified NBR compound, Model N70UL25377, offers exceptional oil resistance, thermal stability, and long-term sealing capabilities. The material is certified for use in gasoline/alcohol blends, natural gas, diesel fuel, lubricating oils, and liquefied petroleum gas (LP gas).

Common sealing applications include:

  • Engines and gearboxes
  • Fuel and fluid handling systems
  • Oil & gas processing and distribution
  • Pump systems
  • Storage and pressure vessels
  • Valves, regulators and actuators

 

The approval underscores Archer’s unwavering commitment to engineering excellence, safety, and quality in rubber materials tailored for demanding applications. The UL 157 standard encompasses rubber gaskets and seal applications where resistance to heat, oil, and environmental exposure is paramount. The certification affirms that Archer’s sealing material adheres to stringent performance and safety standards for the specified fluids.
